STAFF ON MATERNITY LEAVE
We are very excited to announce the safe arrival of new babies for two of our staff. Laura our Midwife welcomed daughter Alexis, and receptionist Lucy welcomed son Archer ‘Archie’. All are doing well.
Laura and Lucy will continue their maternity leave into 2020 before returning to the team. While Laura our midwife is on maternity leave we have another midwife, Deaane, to provide our midwife care services here in the clinic. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our reception team.

SMS REMINDERS
Federation Clinic continues to offer automated SMS appointment reminders to patients that consent to using this service. As part of our recent upgrade to an online appointment system, all patients who wish to participate in the SMS reminder service are required to renew their consent via our reception team. When you are next in at reception, please check that SMS reminders have been activated on your file, alternatively you can call reception and we can do this for you over the phone.

Every effort is made to keep appointments running to time, however, due to the unpredictable nature of our work this is not always possible. Patients are encouraged to contact us prior to an appointment to check that the schedule is running to time.
Please give thought to the amount of time your appointment may require. If there are multiple or complex issues that need discussion, please let reception know when booking your appointment so that sufficient time can be allocated with the doctor.
