Oct 2022 Covid-19 Protocols: Practice Update

October 17, 2022

Following recent changes in Government mandated covid-19 isolation rules, we would like to confirm that the following protocols remain in place for anyone attending the Practice:

  • MASKS MUST BE WORN WHEN IN THE CLINIC.
  • Symptom triaging remains unchanged. Please advise reception prior to attending the clinic, if you have any cold, flu or gastro type symptoms. This includes runny nose, sore throat or any respiratory symptoms.
  • Symptomatic patients can be seen face-to-face in the clinic if a telehealth consultation is not suitable, however, you must have completed a negative RAT (rapid antigen test) on the day of your appointment. You are required to bring a date stamped photo of the negative test to show staff on arrival, if this is not possible please bring the negative test with you. On arrival please phone reception to advise you are here, then wait in your car until the doctor calls you to come inside.
  • If you do not have any covid-related symptoms then you do not need to complete a RAT on the day of your appointment.
  • If you are covid positive, we are unable to see you face-to-face in the clinic. Please phone and advise staff so alternate arrangements can be made.

These protocols are in place to help reduce the risk of transmission to our team members, patients and other people that are in attendance at the clinic.

We thank you for your understanding.
