Alex grew up and studied in Melbourne. As a hospital doctor from 2018 – 2023 his training included work in rural hospitals in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory.

Outside of work, he enjoys snow skiing, cycling, running, hiking and is also a proud owner of a golden retriever.  Alex speaks English and German.
