For all appointments, please contact reception on (02) 6059 2500 or book an appointment here. In an emergency, please call ‘000’. Click HERE to see our covid-safe triage requirements.
Appointments are generally booked at 15-minute intervals. Please give some thought to the amount of time your appointment may require. If there are multiple or complex issues that need discussion, please let reception know when booking your appointment so that sufficient time can be allocated with the doctor.
Every effort is made to keep appointments running to time, however, due to the unpredictable nature of our work, this is not always possible. Patients are encouraged to contact us prior to an appointment to check that the schedule is running to time. Please be aware that if you are running late, and our schedule is running to time, you may be required to re-book your appointment for another time. Patients who fail to attend for an appointment without notifying reception will be charged a non-attendance fee, which will be payable prior to booking another appointment.
AFTER HOURS CARE
Federation Clinic provides 24-hour care for patients as part of a rotating roster system with two other Wodonga Clinics;
- Central Medical Group, 224 Beechworth Road Wodonga
- Wodonga West Medical Clinic, 60-62 Waratah Way Wodonga
For medical assistance after hours, please phone Federation Clinic on (02) 6059 2500 and a recorded message will provide you with instructions on how to contact the doctor on call.
For all medical emergencies please phone 000. You can also contact or attend the emergency department at Albury Wodonga Health Wodonga Campus Vermont Street Wodonga, Phone: (02) 6051 7350.
Please be aware that after hours consultations may attract a private fee. You will be informed of these arrangements at the time of speaking to the on-call doctor.
HOME VISITS
A home visit service is available, at the discretion of the treating doctor, to existing regular patients when their condition prevents them from being able to attend the Clinic. We are unable to provide home visiting services to new patients that have not attended our clinic previously.
Arrangements for a home visit need to be made in advance and approved by the treating doctor. If required, please contact our reception team for more information.
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
In order to provide high-quality medical care and ensure patient safety through correct medical dosage and administration, appointments are required for all repeat prescriptions.
INTERPRETER SERVICES
Our reception team can assist in arranging interpreter services for any patient requiring assistance. Please let us know when making your appointment.
TEST RESULTS
Please do not assume the Clinic will contact you about all test results. When consulting with your doctor prior to your tests being undertaken, please ensure you are absolutely certain what follow-up action has been recommended.
Most test results are available approximately 3-4 business days after your test has been taken. We request patients contact the clinic after 10.00am for test results. Results can only be given to the patient, or a legally authorised representative. Please be advised, our reception staff are only able to pass on the information about your test results that have been noted by the doctor, and whether or not a follow up appointment has been suggested.
In the interest of privacy and confidentiality, all of our staff are required to confirm your identity prior to discussing any personal information.
